This course will be presented as a live webinar.

Colorado Course ID: 60142.  Approved for 16 PC CO CE.  CE is approved for all states, however, credit hours may vary.  For specific CE information for other states, please contact PIIAC at (303) 512-0627 or The National Alliance at (800) 633-2165.

The course will be hosted on August 5-6, 2020 from 8am – 5:15pm on day 1 and 8am – 5pm on day 2. There will be an exam briefing for those taking the exam at the end of day 1. Breaks and a lunch will be taken as always.

Requirements for CE and Update Credit
This course is approved for CE and designation credit just like a live classroom course. During the program, multiple times per hour, non-content related polling questions will appear on the screen. You must respond to the polling questions to get state CE and designation update credit. The polling questions will be displayed for 30 seconds so you will need to respond right away. Breaks and lunch will still be taken as usual.

How to access the webinar
No later than two days before the course begins, you will receive an email with the webinar details. The email will come from Bryan Bernier - customercare@gotowebinar.com. Please read all the instructions in the email. There will be clear details as to the procedures that will need to be followed to get CE and update credit for the course. You do not need to complete the final exam for state CE or designation update.

Requesting CE
CE must be requested through your PROfile page with The National Alliance. You can request CE five days before the program begins and it must be done by the end of the class. Login to your PROfile, click here. Once you are logged in, click on Course History. You will see the current course you are registered for and an option to request CE. You won’t get a confirmation that the CE has been processed, but as long as you follow the steps, it will be submitted.

If you do not need CE, please follow these same steps to decline CE.

As always, CE will take up to 1-3 weeks to be filed with the state after the course is completed.

Exam Details
The exam is not required unless you are working towards the designation. All attendees will receive an email prior to the course state date with instructions for accessing the final exam. The exam will be done electronically with The National Alliance. A proctor is not required, however, the exam is closed book and closed note. The exam will be available to you beginning at 12:01 am CDT on the Monday following the course completion and will remain open until 11:59pm CDT that following Wednesday. Colorado attendees do not need to complete the final exam for state CE or designation update. 

To access the exam, log into your PROfile page. Click here. On the top you will see a blue box that say Launch Learning Portal. This will take you to the homepage of the learning management system (LMS). From the home page of the LMS you will see a green box in the middle of the page on the left-hand side with the text Launch “Insert Your Current Course Name Here.” Click on that green box and it will take you immediately to begin the exam. Again, access is available at 12:01am on the Monday following your course.

Cancellation Policy
All cancellation requests must be received in writing by the close of business the day prior to start date. Cancellations  received 15+ days of the institute start will incur a $50 fee. Cancellations received within 15 days of the institute start will incur a $100 fee. The balance of registration fee will be refunded by the same method of remittance to the issuing agency, company or individual. SORRY, NO REFUNDS FOR NO SHOWS. PIIAC cancellation policy is enforced regardless of reason. Registrations cannot be transferred to a different class or to a different individual.
